One of the hidden features of the 705, is the ability to assign new task to some of the front buttons.

In using a Bluetooth headset which includes a microphone I needed the PTT function to activate a voice transmission, so here's what to do to set VOX/BK-IN button as a PTT button.

Follow this path: MENU, SET, FUNCTION, FRONT KEY CUSTOMIZE, (Select button you want to customize) [BOX / BK-IN], TRANSMIT, EXIT, EXIT, EXIT.

There are about 18 functions you can choose from.

Now my $25 headphone set can be fully utilised with my 705 as a functional microphone and headset.😁
