 Respect & Diversity

We welcome everyone regardless of race, ethnicity, nationality, colour, religion, creed, age, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or technical background.

Zero Tolerance for Bias

Discriminatory language, racist or derogatory remarks, religious slurs, and offensive jokes are strictly prohibited anywhere on club property or on air.

Welcoming Visitors & Novices

Guests, curious members of the public, and newcomers to amateur radio are welcomed with courtesy, encouragement, and patience.

Collaborative Environment

Knowledge sharing and constructive mentorship are at the heart of FAMPARC. All skill levels are valued and supported.

CONDUCT WITHIN THE CLUBROOMS

  • Courteous Behaviour: Treat all fellow members, visitors, and volunteers with kindness, dignity, and personal respect.

  • On-Air & Off-Air Integrity: Maintain high standards of amateur radio etiquette during shack operations, repeater use, and face-to-face discussions.

  • Harassment & Bullying: Bullying, intimidation, unwanted physical contact, or personal harassment will not be tolerated under any circumstances.

  • Constructive Discourse: Differing technical opinions or club viewpoints must be discussed constructively and calmly without personal attacks.

  • Care for Shared Facilities: Treat club gear, antennas, furniture, and amenities with care, leaving the premises clean and safe for others.

"At FAMPARC, our strength lies in our community. We are united by our passion for amateur radio and dedicated to maintaining a safe, inclusive, and friendly environment for all."

RESOLVING ISSUES

If you experience or witness any behaviour that violates this policy, please bring it to the attention of a member of the FAMPARC Committee. All reports will be handled promptly, confidentially, and fairly in accordance with the club constitution.

Traditional Owners

Famparc Club respectfully acknowledges the Bunurong people as the Traditional Owners of the land on which we are located in Bangholme. We pay our respects to their Elders past, present, and emerging, and recognise their continuing connection to the land, waters, and culture.
