Dear Member Societies in the Asia-Pacific Region,
IARU Region 3 hereby issues an official notice regarding a request received from the President of ORARI (the Indonesian Amateur Radio Organization).
ORARI has requested the cooperation of all Member Societies and amateur radio operators in the Asia-Pacific region to temporarily clear certain amateur frequencies in order to support ongoing emergency communication activities being conducted by ORARI in North Sumatera, Indonesia.
Member Societies and amateur radio operators in the Asia-Pacific region are respectfully asked to take note of the frequency list below and ensure that these frequencies remain free from regular or routine communication traffic.
