SK and Funeral arrangements for Keith VK3FT

The committee is saddened to hear of the passing of long time EMDRC member Keith Proctor, VK3FT. Keith passed away amongst family on 31-Dec-2025.

In his professional life, Keith retired as a senior member of the Victorian Police force after several decades of dedicated service. Prior to his later years of some ill health when Keith relinquished his membership, Keith was a long term member of the EMDRC contributing significantly to education and exams providing much to the future of the club and Amateur Radio by bringing new people into the hobby.

Keith also was a keen DXer with over 300 DXCC entities worked. He also operated on several IOTA dxpeditions with several other EMDRC members as well as participating in many lighthouse activations. I personally operated with Keith on Phillip Island OC-136 and Baudin Rocks OC-228.

Keith will be fare-welled with a celebration of his life will be held at the Victorian Police Academy on the 13th of January at 11.00am. The club expressed our condolences to Inna, Keith's children and his extended family and friends.
