Just received my MMDVM Hotspot so learning how to set it up.
Found a very useful set of instructions from Stones River Amateur Radio Club, that takes you through a line by line setup procedure. Not at all scary. Just a matter of plodding through process.
You won't be able to complete the whole process in a single sitting as there is a pause while a human verifies your call sign docs. Said to take between 24-48 hours, but I'm hoping it will be sooner.
Youβll be pleased to know that tomorrow I have an appointment at spec savers so I might not miss things in future.
This excellent Bell Labs video of 'The Shive Wave Generator' provides a greater understanding of the basics involved and is highly recommended:
